Meet Dr. Mariam Tariri
DDS, Lead Dentist
A Neighbor First, a Dentist Second
I have called this community home for more than 20 years. My roots in the Pacific Northwest run deep; after graduating from the University of Washington School of Dentistry, I chose to stay and practice in the area I love. To me, dentistry is about more than just clinical care—it's about building lasting relationships with the neighbors and families who make this community so vibrant.
A Global Perspective on Care
Growing up with a multicultural background, I have a deep appreciation for the diverse stories and experiences my patients bring to the office. Being multilingual allows me to bridge communication gaps and ensure that everyone feels heard, understood, and comfortable in my care. I strive to create an inclusive environment where every patient, regardless of their background, feels at home.
The Science of a Precise Smile
Before my career in dentistry, I earned a Master's in Mathematics. While it may seem like an unusual path, this background is the foundation of my clinical precision. It allows me to approach every dental challenge with a highly analytical, detail-oriented perspective. By looking at the "big picture" through a lens of structured problem-solving, I can create treatment plans that are not only effective but specifically tailored to your unique needs.
Conservative Care, Modern Innovation
My practice philosophy is centered on the idea that "less is often more." I believe in conservative dentistry—protecting and preserving your natural smile whenever possible.
- Your Choice, Your Control: I see myself as your partner in health. My goal is to provide clear options and the education you need to feel confident. In this office, you are always the primary driver of your treatment journey.
- Advanced Technology: To ensure your care is as comfortable and accurate as possible, I integrate modern technology into our daily workflows. From digital scanning to advanced diagnostics, these tools allow for a more streamlined, predictable experience.
Life Beyond the Chair
When I'm not in the clinic, I'm usually out enjoying the beauty of our local trails. My husband and I live right here in the community with our two children, and we feel incredibly lucky to call this area home. On the weekends, you'll likely find me:
- Exploring the outdoors on a long hike.
- Tending to my garden or losing track of time with a great book or podcast.
- Finding creative inspiration in local art and personal projects.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve a healthy, confident smile that lasts a lifetime!
